Beans & Bread
Beans & Bread, located in downtown Baltimore, provides needy or homeless people with a hot meal five days a week. Parishioners bake casseroles which are delivered to the Beans & Bread Center on the first Tuesday of each month. Beans & Bread depends on local parishes to support their mission.
Below are the collection dates for 2021. Please write “Beans and Bread” on the casserole.
January 5, February 2, March 2, April 6, May 4, June 1, July 6,
August 3, September 7, October 5, November 2, December 7.

Our Daily Bread
Our Daily Bread is Maryland’s largest soup kitchen, serving an average of 800 nutritious meals a day, seven days a week, to those suffering the burdens of poverty and homelessness. Parishioners bake casseroles that are delivered to ODB on the second Thursday of each month.
Casserole pans and recipes are always available in the parish office or in the church vestibule outside the vesting room.
Casserole bakers are always needed. You need not commit to a monthly schedule; some parishioners provide casseroles quarterly or occasionally. Every casserole is appreciated!
