Middle School Youth
For young people in grades 6 to 8, the Middle School Youth Ministry serves to introduce
younger adolescents to a broader experience of the faith community. All young people in the
parish are invited to participate in a wide range of activities designed specifically for
middle-schoolers, their friends, and families.
MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH GROUP DROP-IN NIGHTS:
These monthly Friday night meetings take place
during the school year and are sure
to be a hit for all middle school youth. We play some games, pray together and of course eat
pizza! Parent chaperones are needed for these nights! No RSVP
needed, just DROP IN!
Our next meeting will be in September, have
a safe and faith-filled summer!
MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH ACTIVITIES:
Summer Schedule:
Mini-Work Camp, Tuesday, August 12 to Wednesday, August 13. Location
will be at St. Francis de Sales, Abingdon. We will meet at SIJ at
10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 12, and return at 4:30 p.m. on
Wednesday, August 13. Cost is $20 per person. Bring a bag lunch the
first day. ADULT CHAPERONES ARE NEEDED FOR THIS EVENT!

MS Outdoor Games Night,
Friday, August 22, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Meet
out on the church grounds and be ready to get WET!!!
MIDDLE SCHOOL FAITH FORMATION:
SESSIONS TAKE PLACE MONDAY EVENINGS, 6:15 TO 7:30 p.m.

Formation Office. Registration deadline is June 30.
