Lectors
Lectors proclaim the scripture readings at
our parish liturgies and special liturgical functions. Individuals
should have a love for the Word of God, a good speaking voice, and
poise. Individuals are usually scheduled two or three times in a
two-month period.
There is a general meeting once a year where new
procedures, spiritual formation, questions, and concerns are
discussed. A member of this group is designated by the staff
moderator to do the scheduling.
