Knitting & Crocheting Circle

Our Knitting and Crocheting Circle is a group of parishioners who gather monthly to knit or crochet blankets and other items. During 2006 they made and donated hats and booties, 12 sweater sets, and 176 blankets to the Pregnancy Center, the Linus Project, and area hospitals. The group thanks all who have given yarn or cash donations for supplies. Donations are always needed and appreciated. New members are welcome at any time.

  • The Circle meets on the second Thursday of every month in the Julie Room, from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. New members may attend a meeting at any time; no need to call first.

  • The group has patterns available or members bring their own.

  • Members help each other as needed, and each person works at her own pace. Many work on their projects at home between meetings.

  • Donations of acrylic yarn (pastel colors preferred) are used for their work, and the completed items are donated for use in the community. Cash donations are welcome, too.
