Faith Formation Sessions

Faith Formation sessions for children, youth, and their families use a lectionary-based church year process through which all members of a household grow in faith together. This means that each weekly session is based on the Sunday readings, which will directly link the participants to the liturgical life of the parish.

There are three possible ways to participate in the program:

1.      Family program for those who wish to study together as a family at home.

2.      Several neighboring families or individuals may choose to join together for their study and sharing.

3.      Traditional sessions for children and young people are currently provided at the parish:

a.       K-5th grade – Sunday mornings

b.      1st-8th grades – Monday evenings

c.       High School – Sunday evenings

Resources containing ideas for family activities and discussion are provided for each household. This helps families establish traditions by which they celebrate various seasons and holy days throughout the church year.
